The Ghost Town Blues Band has a very diverse and unusual approach of playing traditional Memphis blues. Led by Native Memphian, Matt Isbell, this three-piece is the perfect Memphis feel. GTBB jams dirty traditional to even nastier modern blues but more often than none the band takes popular songs and gives them a Memphis blues twist like (Come Together, Folsom Prison, After Midnight etc.) along with their originals.

GTBB just finished recording their debut record that features Billy Gibson (2009 Blues Music Award Nominee) and Daddy Mack.

Isbell has appeared on 13 CDs and has played in the Stax Rhythm Section, The South Soul Rhythm Section, The Blind Venetians, Gusto, The Fried Glass Onions Memphis Meets the Beatles Live and countless other projects. He has toured Nationally and has shared the stage with Jessie Mae Hemphill, Todd Snider, Shinedown, Daddy Mack Blues Band, Billy Gibson Band, North Mississippi All-stars, Blind Mississippi Morris, Jackie Johnson, Reni Simon, Joyce Cobb, Larry Raspberry and even comedian Sinbad just to name a few.
